They are a cultural warp away from the fine arts and architectural hordes of the previous decade that dashed out of the halls of great learning just to create wonderful things with solar energy and drift wood on Saltspring Island. They're the new hybrids. These two credit their beginnings as photographers. What began with simple pictures are now graphic forms, silk screens, lithographs, metal etchings, and fiber work. When they met in a darkroom, they were both working for a local architectural firm. Commercially speaking, they knew they were a team. They were engaged in a company which had all of the criteria that are present in well known corporations.


There was a graphics exhibition in Vancouver that they needed to attend as the participants for their company. When it comes to what they have here, the partners are really confident about the level of success that they can achieve and this is why there was a promise of five thousand dollars from one of the partners. In their brochures, they will try to incorporate as many forms of art, graphic, and print as they can and this is what will make them different from the rest of their competitors in Winnipeg. Aside from this, they also work on promotional printing, posters, architectural photography and models, logos, T shirt design, coasters, menus, and matchbook covers and they refer to these as potatoes. Potatoes are for short term work but their main line of income comes from the custom art that they do for the head and branch offices of corporations, lobbies and rooms of hotel chains, government buildings, trains, and commercial aircrafts.
